Cine-Matic, the popular movie series that takes place each week at the JavaVino will be showing “The Further Perils of Laurel and Hardy” this Wednesday night, September 26th.

There is no admission charge.

According to Racine film historian James L. Neibaur, curator for the series, “The Further Perils of Laurel and Hardy” is an anthology of the duo’s films from the silent era.

“Some of Laurel and Hardy’s greatest films were their silent movies,” Neibaur said. “This compilation offers several of their funniest. It really shows why Laurel and Hardy remain so beloved.”

The presentation begins at 6pm and is highly recommended for all ages. Please arrive early and get situated before showtime. The presentation will not begin until everyone is seated
